As an IT inventory technician, you will be in charge of managing, designing, and implementing an inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures. It's a stimulating position that combines the technical and strategic aspects perfectly. 

 

In this role, you will:

 

  • Manage an inventory tracking system to optimize the operations management and IT equipment throughout the company;
  • Document daily deliveries and shipments to update the inventory;
  • Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, inventory levels, and any required adjustments;
  • Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems and place orders to avoid inefficiencies or surplus; 
  • Develop and implement control procedures and collaborate with other departments to ensure that objectives are met;
  • Maintain the inventory system and ensure that users adhere to the process that needs to be followed;
  • Ensure that all equipment is maintained (cleaning, repairs, etc.)
  • Prepare and configure equipment (computers, Image, Windows) for new agents.

Responsibilities

  • Bilingualism (French and English), required;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • 3 years or more of professional experience in a computer environment;
  • Working knowledge of inventory management softwares;
  • Good technical knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, software, and hardware;
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills;
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
